Protecting the security and privacy of your personal data is important to ADB SAFEGATE. Therefore, we conduct our business in compliance with applicable laws on data privacy protection and data security, including the General Data Protection regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

Personal data in ALIS – what is it?

Personal data relates to a living individual who can be identified from that data. ADB SAFEGATE is the data controller: this means it decides how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

ADB SAFEGATE complies with its obligations by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely, by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.

You hereby consent to the storage of your profile information such as your name, first name and email address, used for logging into the ALIS system and user reference.

Purpose of use and legal basis

The legal basis for processing your personal data is the performance of our contract with you. The personal data gathered, stored and visible for ADB SAFEGATE in relation to the ALIS solution, will only be used to support and assist you to use ALIS in an optimal way. Additionally, your personal data can be used for the improvement and/or development of the ALIS solution. No personal data will be used for other means and will not be transferred to parties that are not associated with the ALIS solution. ADB SAFEGATE is not responsible for possible data collection via third party devices and services used by ALIS.

Retention of data

We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary for any legal claims or complaints, which is one year after the termination of our contract with you.

Your rights and your personal data:

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • the right to request a copy of your personal data which ADB SAFEGATE holds about you;
  • the right to request that ADB SAFEGATE corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
  • the right to request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for ADB SAFEGATE to retain such data;
  • the right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authorities.
